River Park Bratislava

The construction of the River Park has finally started. This state-of-art multifunctional centre will be located right on the bank of the Danube, very close to the historic Old Town with major Bratislava attractions. The new “city in the city” has been designed for living, leisure, retail and offices. It will offer almost 200 distinctive apartments with the views of the Danube, 25,000 square meters of office space, modern shopping mall, many trendy restaurants and bars. Also the 5-star Kempinski Hotel Bratislava with 220 deluxe guest-rooms is to be the part of the River Park. The award-winning Dutch architect, Erick van Egeraat, designed the ultra-modern building combining glass, metal and wood. The entire project is to be completed by 2009.
